Slack integration: feedback themes in your channel

Post what your users are asking for to a Slack channel: new themes, rising themes, urgent feedback and the daily digest, formatted as Slack messages.

What it posts

  • New theme: the title, product and number of people asking, with a link to the theme.
  • Rising theme: when a theme's weekly volume doubles.
  • Urgent feedback: the PII-free summary of an urgent item.
  • The digest: the same facts as the email.

Summaries never contain names or emails, and mentions in them never ping anyone. Automatic events are on Pro; on Free, send a theme to Slack by hand with Send to….

Set it up

  1. In Slack, add an Incoming Webhook to the channel (Apps → Incoming Webhooks) and copy its URL.
  2. In Camelus, Settings → Destinations → Add destination, preset Slack, paste the URL.
  3. Pick the events and products, and click Test.
